I’ve never done anything like this. What should I expect?
No worries, dude! We get a lot of first-timers and want to ensure you have a great time. Our events are best characterized as social masturbation. We laugh, joke, eat snacks, have conversations, masturbate, and cum. It can be overwhelming to pleasure yourself in a room of strangers, but you adjust when you realize no one is judging you, and we are all doing it with you. Come and make friends!
How many guys attend? / How many guys are you expecting to attend?
Attendance varies but typically around 20 men attend our events. We don’t focus on the quantity but who attends, which is usually really cool guys. We always have a great time.
Here’s why this is not our favorite question: RSVP counts give event organizers an estimate of how many guys want to attend, not how many will actually attend. Attendees are not usually aware of this. We’d rather attendees have a great time and focus on the experience, not the numbers. Whether we have two men or two hundred, we aim to provide a great experience for those who attend our events.
When you host at hotels, do they care?
Generally, no. We do our best to respect their property by cleaning up after. Attendees do their part in keeping noise levels down and not destroying hotel property. We’ve also attempted to inform owners of our events, and they simply do not want to know and are (secretly) supportive.
Does the host participate?
The host doesn’t usually participate in the event. There is a lot of work leading up to the event, the day of the event, and during the event that goes into ensuring the event is a safe and respectful experience for everyone. The host is responding to questions and concerns, ensuring the Code of Conduct is being utilized, checking guys in to the event, and is generally there to help. What is a jack-off club?
Jack-off clubs are typically organizations that host social masturbation gatherings, where men can masturbate together and form bonds. Informal gatherings are not jack-off clubs but just as fun.
Are trans men allowed?
Yes. Austin Jacks and our event organizers do our best to respect all bodies and identities and maintain a safe space for all men. Our code of conduct applies to everyone at our events.
What kind of guys attend?
Austin Jacks is an inclusive organization, where all kinds of identities show up for solo or mutual fun, including people who identify as gay, bisexual, straight, demisexual, pansexual, Black, Indigenous, East Asian, South Asian, Latine/Latinx, white, cisgender, non-binary people with penises, trans men, neurodivergent, neurotypical, deaf, blind, physically impaired*, all ages and zodiac signs, in shape, out of shape, underweight, overweight, smooth, hairy, etc. All attendees must be 21+.
* We try to choose venues that are ADA-compliant. Sometimes we can’t meet this standard but aim to help however we can. Please reach out in advance if you need assistance.
Is oral or anal sex allowed at Austin Jacks events?
No. Other practices related to consensual masturbation practices like milking and frotting are allowed. Penetrative sex is awesome but best for outside the club. Engaging in or hinting at oral and anal sex at our events is a violation of our Code of Conduct.
Will you be playing porn at events?
Sometimes. Typically, guys are focused on each other and find porn distracting. But whenever we are able, we will stream masturbation porn.
What is a bator?
A bator is someone who prefers masturbation as a primary form of sexual pleasure. Gooning, edging, frotting, popperbating are all practices that a bator would participate in.
What is the difference between bator and a side?
A side is typically someone who prefers many sexual practices with a partner, such as masturbation and oral, except anal sex. “Side” is related to gay sexual preference terms like “top,” “bottom,” and “versatile.”
Sides can be bators but not all bators are sides.
Would you ever host an event at Hippie Hollow?
We love bating naked in nature! But we respect the nudism/naturism movement which is non-sexual and rules prohibiting lewd behavior set by Travis County Parks. We are looking into other natural spaces around Austin to bate in!
Are straight guys allowed?
Of course! Enjoying masturbation (solo or with others) is not based on sexual orientation. All guys of any sexuality are welcome.

Can my female partner attend?
No. While we love that women would be interested to watch guys bond while masturbating, our events are not co-ed. Anyone appearing to be female will be respectfully asked to leave.
Will we be recorded or captured at Austin Jacks events?
For the most part, no. But occasionally, an Austin Jacks host will ask for consent to take your photo for promotional purposes (e.g. social media). We respect anonymity and follow the general rule of not including your face in any photos or videos. Your privacy and safety is very important to us.
Are alcohol and drugs allowed?
No alcohol or drugs are allowed at our play events. We will occasionally have purely social events at breweries or other vendors with alcohol.
Do I have to touch or be touched?
No. Our events are consent-based. Every person that walks through the door is given a rundown of the rules. Consent is the most important one. If you don’t want to be touched, practice declining kindly. If you want to be touched, practice asking and instructing how you want to be touched.
Do I have to be naked?
You do not have to be naked. Undress to your comfort level. However, most of us will be naked.
Can I be cummed on?
Absolutely. Ask your bate bud to cum where you want to be cummed on. If you are cumming on someone, kindly offer a towel.
Does penis size/shape/cut matter?
No. All dicks are welcome. Body shaming is not tolerated in our club. Everyone wants everyone to feel comfortable! Because the primary purpose of social masturbation is self-pleasuring with other guys, guys may be curious about you and watch you masturbate.
What kind of toys are allowed at events?
Wearables (cock rings, locks, VR headsets) are fine as long as they don’t hurt anyone. Items that you insert yourself into (cock sleeves, fleshjacks, etc.) are only allowed at themed events where noted. Items that you insert into your vagina/anus are never permitted (butt plugs, etc.).
